Brenda, a city girl, grew up in London in the swinging 60's. Emigrating to Sydney in 1973 with her husband Eddy, and their two sons, living the country life down south on their 5 acre property with a kennel of Collie dogs which they showed and breed as a family, Brenda also sat on the committee of the Kennel Club and was in charge of the Dog Obedience Training School for several years. When a sea change brought Brenda to North Wollongong in the early 90's, she enjoyed working with a developer designing and decorating the new and refurbished units in that area, as well as transforming her own beach side apartment, " I do so enjoy moving says Brenda, as everytime I move I can create a new environment for myself, and as every building has different character, I get a feeling for the space and decorate according to the vibe I receive, a new theme is set, but always keeping a few of my treasured possessions that I will make fit into any style of home". Brenda later moved to the inner suburbs of Sydney where her business of hiring furniture and homewares for clients that were selling their homes, from her retail shop in Newtown. Now in semi-retirement Brenda brought her love of the south of France to her Sans Souci residence and retail outlet, where she resided with her husband of 44 years and their French Poodle Cocoa. At present Brenda is enjoying a hiatus back on the South Coast where she is planning her next exciting venture. Amongst Brenda's other talents is Ballroom Dancing having specialized in earlier years in Latin American, she later taught dance part-time, Brenda can be seen on occasions dancing the argentine tango in the inner city suburbs, asked what gives her most pleasure dancing or decorating her response was, "When I am on the dance floor I am transported, it is a huge buzz, very sensual, however when I am up a ladder painting and creating I am like a 'pig in sh..' I just wallow in it. If I could decorate all day and dance all night that would be bliss". Brenda will still consider taking on Interior Decorating assignments.
